What is Shamanic Astrology?

For thousands of years people have been looking to the night sky to seek answers to life’s problems. Our ancestors formed a deep relationship with the planets long before they had maps of the earth. They used cosmic alignments for ceremonies, deep healing and gatherings.

Shamanic Astrology is a mystical esoteric knowledge that was developed in ancient Mesopotamia, where the first human civilization was born at around 6000BC. Shamanic Astrology's roots go all the way back to the Sumerian Tablets. This sacred knowledge was later transmitted to Ancient Babylon, Egypt and then Greece. Shamanic Astrology originated in the Mystery Schools of Ancient Sumeria where Astrology was considered the base for all spiritual practices and disciplines. Astrology is a unique combination of mathematics and geometries and is the sacred language of the Cosmos.

 The essence of Shamanic Astrology is expressed through the words of Hermes Trismegistus:

 “As above, so below.
As within, so without.
As the universe, so the soul.”

 “As above, so below. As the universe, so the soul.“ - The meaning of that phrase is that we carry within us, the energies of the cosmic sky that were present at the date, time and location of our birth.

 “As within so without.” - The meaning of this phrase is that our reality is created from within us. Our inner qualities are being projected into our outer world. We are like movie projectors and the movie being played is our life.

 “Know Thyself”

To understand yourself means that you understand the whole. All studies in the Ancient Mystery schools were formed from this principle. Shamanic Astrology teaches us oneness and connection with the unified field of energy, of all that is. The purpose of Shamanic Astrology is to teach you and support you as you become the creator of your own life. Every soul comes to Earth with a pre-determined soul map that contains what one wishes to experience and learn in this incarnation.

Shamanic Astrology is a Moon orientated Astrology where other types of Astrology are Sun orientated (zodiac based).
